Choosing a Simple Green Cleaner is pretty easy if you just go for one of the Simple Green Cleaning Products range. Made by Sunshine Makers Inc these have provided industry and households with a less polluting and less toxic method of cleaning for decades.

That being said, Simple Green is not the most Environmentally Friendly range of cleaning products to choose. They sometimes get a lot of negative publicity for not being green enough. Dismissing Simple Green as not green enough is not really fair at all. Read the label and they show exactly how green or not they are. And, being sold in highly concentrated packs many of their products probably pollute less overall thatn more expensive, greener cleaners. The key to environmentally friendly cleaning is to take some responsibility. If you are never going to give up the results and lack of effort you put in with your current use of bleaches, toxic scourers and so on, a move to the Simple Green Cleaner range will be a good thing. After all you are one person that is not ever going to be making your own soaps or sprinkling baking soda around the place. The results you achieve with Simple Green will be the same, if not better than (after all they are designed for the exacting standards of industrial cleaning), as your current basket of chemical cleaners. But most importantly you will be reducing your exposure to harmful fumes and improving the biodegradability of the waste leaving your home.

A Simple Green Cleaner may not be perfect, but most of us are simply never likely to reach perfection. They do offer a vast improvement over traditional products though, and that must be welcomed.

Here at Eco Green Cleaning Products we have a series of posts about Simple Green Cleaning Products. This one is the forth in the series and again looks at the very greenest cleaners. All however, will prove valuable, economical Simple Green Cleaners.

We have already seen how Simple and Green cleaning can be, with Baking Soda, Vinegar and Simple Soap. Today’s All Natural Cleaning Product is another disinfectant, anti-bacterial cleaner and degreaser. This is probably the cheapest Green Cleaner you could ever have and it is already sitting in your kitchen cupboard. We are of course talking Salt as Green Cleaner.

Of course it isn’t very glamorous and it rarely comes in particularly exciting packaging, or indeed with any added flowery fragrance. But, all this is good, it simply makes salt more economical and much much more environmentally friendly. No wasted perfumes or packaging for this green cleaner.

All Natural Anti-Bacterial Cleaner

One of the greenest things you can do with regards to the household chores is use less petrochemical based detergents, and more natural soap based products. The easiest product to use has to be baking soda. The fine particles in bicarbonate of soda are wonderful for getting through grease and grime. But they are extremely gentle on plastics. In fact, I’ve found the only way to keep plastic bottles and bowls properly clean AND scratch free is with baking soda. There simply is no green scouring powder which can beat it.

Best of all this Simple Green Cleaner is cheap, really cheap. Buy the biggest bag you can (forget the big brand, why bother paying more for a prettier box), and it will last you months.

Simple Green Cleaning Products don’t need to be difficult to find or difficult to use. This scourer can be made into a paste with a little water and rubbed on just about anything.
